Cheshire is
one of the counties of northern England. Cheshire lies between the
Welsh mountains and the southern Pennines and most of its area
is below 300 feet. It is an extensive
pastoral county, noted for its cheese. The
population is about a million or something like that.
Along the Mersey are chemical industries.
Macclesfield is noted for silk and nylon, and Crewe is a
railway junction and big cattle market.
